Vernal Pool Walks
Following the Great Works Regional Land Trust vernal pool session led by Maine Master Naturalists Linda Littlefield Grenfell and Kerry Peiser on April 18th from 10-12 (GWRLT sign up), join Rebecca Tay from 4-H for continued informal walks between late April and early June to explore the vernal pool ecosystems. Come and discover fairy shrimp and observe frog and salamander egg masses in the temporary pools. Consider joining multiple walks to see how the egg masses develop and change.
