Garden Tool Care and Maintenance Workshop at Tidewater Farm scheduled for April 10

Falmouth, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host a Garden Tool Maintenance Workshop on Wednesday, April 10, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm, 200 Presumpscot Point Road, Falmouth.

Proper tool care is an important step for enhancing the longevity and safety of garden tools. In this workshop, we’ll demonstrate best practices for maintaining and caring for your garden tools throughout the gardening season. Participants will gain hands-on experience cleaning and sharpening tools of their own and learn how to store their tools when not in use. Space is limited. Registration is required. Program fee is offered on a sliding scale, $5-$15.
