UMaine Extension offers plant-based cooking workshop

Lisbon Falls, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host a Vegetarian and Vegan Cooking Workshop on Wednesday, November 19, 5:00 p.m., at the Androscoggin/Sagadahoc Cooperative Extension office, 24 Main Street, Lisbon Falls.

The hands-on workshop is designed for individuals interested in learning the basics of vegetarian and vegan diets. Participants will explore the use of tofu and tempeh in cooking, as well as plant-based nutrition practices. The session will include cooking demonstrations and shared preparation activities. Space is limited to six participants.
