Eastern States Exposition (ESE or The Big E)

Maine 4-H participants on stage at 2021 4-H Big E event.The Communication Science Team will travel to the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts on September 23, 2023. Presentations on the stage at the New England Center will go on from 10 AM to 5 PM on September 24 and 25. We will travel home on September 26. A $50.00 registration fee includes travel to and from The Big E, meals while at The Big E and three nights lodging in the Moses Dormitory on the fairgrounds. Limited scholarships are available on an as-needed basis.

Participants will need money to purchase meals on the ride down and back along with any spending money you wish to bring for your stay at the fair. There is a lot to do and see at The Big E Fair that is free!

This travel opportunity is open to youth ages fourteen and older.
