4-H Equity Challenge 2023
Use your creative skills to tell others what inspires you to work for equity in Maine
The 4-H Equity Challenge is for youth ages 5-19 to create a digital photograph, a performance, a presentation, or a writing piece that tells why every Maine youth belongs in a welcoming and inclusive environment. There are prizes based on age. This challenge is open to any 4-H’er or partner organization in Maine.
To participate, submit your creation by completing and submitting the form below, following the steps provided in each Challenge Guide, by February 24, 2023.
For more information or a reasonable accommodation, please contact 4-H through the UMaine Extension in Cumberland County at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 207.781.6099.
The Challenge Guides have Evaluation Rubrics included for each to help you understand how your work will be evaluated.
Challenge Guides for Photography, Performing, and Writing are included in this section. The Guides contain important information to help you imagine and create your work. Share the guides with your volunteer, parent, mentor, or another adult so they can help you with the challenge.
