About:
Aedan, a member and mentor with our Magic Lantern Robotics and Engineering Group is currently designing and building a robot to solve a Rubik’s Cube. Aedan has competed internationally in Cubing competitions, scoring exceedingly well, and can also solve a cube while blindfolded and riding on a unicycle. Aedan has earned FAA certification and studied drone building and flying through UMaine. Aedan has been accepted into the University of Maine Honors College to study computers and electrical engineering.

Aoi will be a senior at Oxford Hills High School in the fall. He has been an employee at the Magic Lantern and has worked for LEA as a boat inspector in 2021. Aoi is involved with video production and has worked on some filming at the Magic Lantern. He has taken several honors and AP classes in high school. Aoi has been involved with our 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Bryant Pond taking programs in Bushcraft, survival, and hunter safety.

Sadie has developed her interest and passion for animal science through her 4-H work. She has earned many recognitions, including outstanding show person, caught and raised a scramble calf, and served in several officer roles including club president. Most of all, Sadie not only recognizes the value of learning from other 4-H members but is also a gifted teacher and role model while showing at numerous fairs and clinics. Sadie was chosen to work with the Four-Star Genetics Team at the National Western Stock Show this year. Sadie will be a University of Maine student this fall where she will study animal nutrition with a special focus on equine health.
