4-H Food for Thought

Dive into the exciting world of food security with 4-H Food for Thought, inspired by the 2024 4-H STEM Challenge! This program is designed for adults interested in learning more about how to be involved in 4-H and lead activities with youth. It features hands-on activities that explore global and local food impacts, an engineering design challenge, and even growing your own food. Whether you want a one-time experience or a journey over time, there’s something for everyone!

What’s in Store?

Session A: Get acquainted with the 4-H Food for Thought content and discover what 4-H is all about.

Thursday, January 16 (snow date January 23), 3:00- 5:00 PM

Session B: Feeling inspired? Learn how to share this knowledge with youth, plan events, and dive into positive youth development with guidance from 4-H staff.

Thursday, January 30 (snow date February 6), 3:00- 5:00 PM

Registration is free, with a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item. Invite a friend to sign up! Open to adults in Androscoggin or Sagadahoc counties. Register here by January 12!
