The University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Aroostook County will be giving away cherry tomato seedlings as part of the One Tomato Project.™ On Friday June 3 at UMFK, 34 Armory Rd., Fort Kent and Houlton Higher Education Center 18 Military St., Houlton. Saturday, June 5th, Aroostook Centre Mall, 830 Main Street parking lot from 9:00am-12:00pm everyone is invited to come to pick up their free tomato plant and a growing guide. This drive-through event will be hosted by Extension Homemakers, Aroostook 4-Hers, and members of the UMaine Extension staff.
