Imagine an underwater forest of golden kelp swaying in the currents. Did you know that kelp is grown, harvested, and used in everyday life?
Join the University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s 4-H program for Celebrating Seaweed, an interactive workshop for youth ages 5 to 13.
Participants will learn how to grow and use kelp, then get creative by making their own seaweed squishies, also known as alginate creatures.
