Master Gardeners could offer lessons in gardening topics in either the greenhouse or at the GRO garden space. Extending hours for tending and maintenance of the garden, assisting members during open garden hours, building plots as growth requires, and supporting community engagement with representative community partner outreach, if needed. The mission of the GRO: Community Garden Project is to create a space that not only yields a harvest but grows as a space to be used for gathering. An outdoor classroom for Sabattus Recreation Garden Club members, the staff, and students of Sabattus Primary School, and a gathering space for community members to share. A safe place to grow empathy, compassion, and sustainability in our community.
