Long Island Community Garden

Established in 2006, The Long Island Community Garden currently has 32 single beds which are rented on an annual basis. We also have a very large perennial border, blueberries and raspberries and a side garden for planting row crops to benefit our island food pantry. We also plant and care for all the town municipal planters along the waterfront, town buildings and library. We host an open garden daily and an annual evening garden party in July. We also host a community harvest dinner in November, which is free and usually feeds 125 people.
