Maine Wildlife Park
The Maine Wildlife Park serves as a permanent home for wildlife that cannot be returned to their natural habitats. Master Gardener Volunteers help maintain the gardens on-site and assist with growing plants in their greenhouse for the park grounds. We give gardeners their own garden plots to care for. Some gardeners prefer to have a small team to work with as well. We have a variety of plants to choose from and there is a greenhouse where we grow many plants. Gardeners can come into the park as early as 7 AM , drive their vehicle in when needed before the park opens at 9 AM . We also look for volunteers who just want to help out occasionally.
