Rice Public Library has a new Children’s Garden that will need spring/fall cleaning and seasonal maintenance, including transplanting some existing plants. My hope is that a group of gardeners, both MGVs and local volunteers, will come together twice a month to care for the Children’s Garden, much like the group that meets twice monthly at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. In addition to the Children’s Garden, the established library gardens will need maintenance.
