Transforming St. Paul’s Gardens with Native Plants
Address: Brunswick, Maine
The garden is a public place in the heart of Brunswick open to all from dawn to dusk. We are rehabilitating the existing gardens to make them easier to care for, to greatly reduce the number of invasive species, and to plant native species to benefit birds, bees and other wildlife. We hope to apply for Pollinator Friendly Garden Certification once completed. We plan to offer work days during the project for both children and adults. The goal is to become an example for what inner-city landscapes can look like.
