Other Important Information

  • Each family must provide an item from the food item list (PDF).
  • Arrival Information: You may come on Thursday evening (no earlier than 4:00 PM) to set up stalls with an adult over 21 who will be responsible for you. You may arrive Friday morning, but registration begins at 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Friday, June 17. If you are arriving after 3:00 PM, let us know, as the last riding assessment start around 3:00.
  • Please read the Form for Adult Chaperones (PDF) carefully and complete it in its entirety. It is critical that we know who the chaperones will be and when they will be attending camp. Any adult intending to stay overnight must be a 4-H Volunteer and attend a mandatory May 17, 5:30-7:30 PM, at the UMaine Extension Kennebec County office. There will be a VOLT Training May 9, 5:30-7:30, at the UMaine Extension Kennebec County office if you need to become a 4-H Volunteer.
  • 7- and 8-year-old campers must be on a lead line and led by a VOLT certified volunteer, experienced horse person or older teen leader
