Have you ever taken a soil test and then thought, “What do all those numbers, graphs, and Xs mean?” Or wondered how to calculate the correct amount of fertilizer needed to make your garden or specific crop thrive?

If you’d like to know more about soil and soil testing, please join us for “Soil Fertility Workshop: Beyond Soil Test Results, How Will It Help my Garden?”

This will be a hands-on, interactive program to learn how to fully utilize your soil test results. The program will also discuss different soil amendments including compost, lime, conventional and organic fertilizers, and animal manures. If possible, bring a copy of your soil test.

For more information, please call 207.832.0343.

If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate in this program, please call Mark Hutchinson at 207.832.0343 or 800.244.2104 (in Maine) to discuss your needs. Receiving requests for accommodations at least 10 days before the program provides a reasonable amount of time to meet the request, however all requests will be considered.
