Climate Reanalyzer

Screen shot of the Climate Analyzer mapClimate is a description of the long-term weather patterns in a region, typically over a period of 30 or more years.  These patterns can include factors such as temperature, wind speed, air pressure, precipitation and cloud cover.  When shown graphically, the data tell a story about our planet. The Climate Reanalyzer produced by the Climate Change Institute at the University of Maine is a tool to examine that story. View compiled animations or begin an investigation by plotting factors of your own choosing using available datasets.
