There are both in-person and virtual training options available on the Strengthening Facilitation Skills page (Division of Lifelong Learning), and each offers a digital badge upon completion.

Earners of this micro-credential are able to:

  • plan appropriate group processes
  • create and sustain a participatory environment
  • guide groups to appropriate and useful outcomes
  • build and maintain professional knowledge
  • model a positive professional attitude

The curricula for the in-person and virtual training series are each aligned with the Facilitation Core Competencies of the International Association of Facilitators (PDF).
