Mediation is a collaborative, confidential process that helps people resolve disputes peacefully. Whether it’s a family conflict, a workplace issue, a community disagreement, or a farm business dispute, mediation brings people together with a trained neutral third party (the mediator) to find common ground and move forward.
At the University of Maine, you can learn mediation through academic credentials, professional training, and real-world application thanks to programs offered by the Division of Lifelong Learning (DLL) and UMaine Extension.
