Melanie has over 15 years working in the medical/social services field having graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Husson University. Melanie is part of a team of experienced visitors who have the pleasure of watching parents and children grow. Rachel GoodeRachel Goode
Parent Education Professional

Rachel comes to Maine Families with a background in early childhood education (she earned her BS at UMaine). For the past eight years, she has been a Head Start teacher, an Ed Tech in Special Education, and a 2nd-grade classroom teacher. Providing a rich learning environment and a solid foundation to early learners and their families has been at the root of her work. Her hope is to bring that same passion and enthusiasm to her role as a home visitor. In her everyday life, Rachel resides in Waldo County with her two children and a silly pup named Finn. She expresses creativity through cooking and loves any chance to share that with others. You can often find her out on a mountain trail, in the garden, or near the ocean, and you can bet there is a smile on her face!
