Food Preservation Workshop
DOVER-FOXCROFT, ME—University of Maine Cooperative Extension has announced that a Canning Workshop will be held on June 26th at the Piscataquis County Office, 165 East Main Street Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426, beginning at 5:30pm and ending at 8:30pm. Registration is $12 and pre-pay is required.
In this course you will learn the basics behind home food preservation and food safety. This is a hands-on workshop where attendees will be making jam and should bring oven mitts to handle their jam properly.
