School Garden Exploration Booth at the Dover Cove Market
Join FoodCorps service member Zoe Hastings this Saturday, June 8th at the Dover Cove Market from 9 am -1 pm for activities at the School Garden Exploration Booth. Learn about school garden programs around the state, including those at nearby SeDoMoCha and Ridge View Community School, while kids of all ages explore a worm bin and play a seed matching game. FoodCorps is a national non-profit service organization with a mission to bring youth closer to healthy foods by engaging students through school gardens, educating youth about nutrition and food production, and improving access to local foods through school cafeterias.
