Help Welcome Our New 4-H Community Education Assistant
Sheila Norman, 4-H Youth Development Professional, is pleased to announce that Emily Mott has accepted the position of 4-H Community Education Assistant at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Piscataquis & Penobscot County, effective December 2, 2019.
Emily will be working to support 4-H clubs, groups, and activities as a part of the UMaine Cooperative Extension. She was previously a headteacher at an afterschool program in the Bangor area and has five years of experience as a camp counselor. She also has volunteered with two exercise programs aimed at improving physical activity levels for children with physical and mental disabilities. In addition to working youth, Emily likes to play board games, the violin, and handbells.
