Welcome, Maisy!

Over summer, rising 3rd graders looked at life cycles and what plants need in order to grow.

Maisy Cyr, 4-H Community Education Assistant, has joined the Community Central team and will be working with Laura at multiple locations across Lewiston.

In other big news, Community Central staff is excited to be working with McMahon Elementary again!

This past summer, Laura visited the rising 3rd-grade classrooms during summer school. Beginning in late March/early April, Laura and Maisy will be leading 4-H STEM programming with ten 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade classrooms at McMahon.

In partnership with classroom teachers, Laura and Maisy will engage students in 4-H curriculum that coincides with and builds upon the learning standards from the Lewiston School Department for each grade.
