2020 Maine 4-H State Public Speaking Tournament

The 2020 Maine 4-H Public Speaking Tournament is going virtual! It will be held as a live, virtual event delivered on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. Youth will deliver their presentations to a panel of judges and a small audience of their peers. These presentations will be open only to participants, judges, and the audience.

Join Us

Family, friends, and the general public can support youth by joining us for the Awards Ceremony! The Awards Ceremony will be streamed live, online, starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. Tune in to watch a welcome message from University of Maine Cooperative Extension Dean and 4-H Alumna, Dr. Hannah Carter. We will also be streaming a photo slideshow of the virtual presentations as well as announcing awards for each participant. There will be multiple ways to join the live stream including Zoom Webinar, Facebook Live, and YouTube. We encourage you to invite anyone you’d like — there will be no limit on attendees!
