Exploring Entomology
Introduces concepts around what an insect actually is, identifying body parts and their function, and the role of insects in the larger ecosystem. Other activities include the “Insect Olympics” where participants practice moving as an insect and can include live crickets for observation and study. Participants will learn about pollination and explore the homes of insects in the natural world. Activities can be used as stand alone activities or programs could use all six activities in the curriculum.
