We will explore the importance of training our goats to be obedient and easier to handle starting from when they are kids right up to when it’s time to milk or give medicines. We’ll talk about how & why it is important to start training as early as possible. And we’ll learn several techniques that will help your animals be safer and more enjoyable to work with. We’ll also learn how to teach goats “tricks”. As a final bonus, each participant will learn how to make and safely tie “hobbles” for their own goats from materials they already have on the farm.
