4-H Pitch Your Idea Grants and Loans
Pitch Your Idea to the Maine 4-H Foundation Youth Trustees
Pitch 4-H grants are made available to active 4-H members in Maine.
The Maine 4-H Youth Trustees in partnership with an anonymous donor are offering a grant program for currently enrolled 4-H members. The funding will support new small business ideas, new agricultural projects, and/or a new innovative project within 4-H. For a more detailed description, please refer to the application. Funding is available for up to $500.
New Small Business: Do you have an idea for a new small business that you need help to launch? Pitch your idea to us and we will award you a grant (you do not need to pay this back) and help you find a resource for a small loan to help you get started if your idea is selected.
New Agricultural Project: Do you want to start a new 4-H agricultural project? Do you need help to get the project started? Show us what you need and what you are contributing toward your new project. Agricultural projects can be livestock or garden based, and can support Maine Harvest for Hunger and Kids Can Grow projects.
New Innovative Project: Do you want to start a new 4-H creative and innovative project? Do you need help to get the project started? Show us what you need and what you are contributing toward your new project.
