Falmouth, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a workshop about preserving Maine foods on Thursday, August 29 from 5:30–8 p.m. at the Cumberland County Office, 75 Clearwater Dr, Falmouth.
“Preserving the Harvest” will teach the basic steps for safely making and canning salsa at home. Extension professional Kate McCarty will lead the workshop; fresh produce and canning jars will be provided.
