4-H in Androscoggin & Sagadahoc Counties invites families, youth, and community members to attend a drop-in Open House on Sunday, August 17th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the UMaine Cooperative Extension office, 24 Main Street, Lisbon Falls.

This fun and informative event is free and open to the public, offering a chance for attendees to explore hands-on activities, meet current 4-H members and volunteers, and learn more about 4-H’s positive youth development opportunities. From science experiments and animal care to art projects and healthy living, there can be something for every child’s interest.

For over 100 years, our core values have remained unchanged. We teach career and life-ready skills such as respect, collaboration, leadership, communications, critical thinking and compassion, to ensure youth are Beyond Ready and prepared to lead in an ever-changing world.

Highlights of the event will include:

  • Interactive activity stations – including the University of Maine Touch Tank
  • Meet-and-greet with local 4-H clubs, volunteers, and staff
  • Youth and Volunteer enrollment information
