2026 Northern Maine Fair 4-H Schedule
Wednesday, August 5 – Sunday August 9 2026
Exhibit Hall & contest drop off instructions
NMF Exhibit Hall: Sunday, August 2, 12:00 – 4:00 or Monday, August 3rd 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Members unable to drop off during the above time can deliver their entries to an Aroostook County Extension office (Houlton, Presque Isle, Fort Kent) on or before 3:00 pm July 31st.
Tuesday, August 4
EVENING JUDGING: Exhibit Hall, contests, and displays.
Wednesday, August 5 – Fair Opening Day
3:00 PM Demo Ex – Livestock Ring
6:00 PM AVBB Steak Dinner – Livestock Hall
Thursday, August 6 – 4-H & FFA Day
9:00 AM 4-H Livestock Shows – Livestock Ring
Sheep/Cattle/Hog/Goat (determined after intent and approval forms are returned)
FFA Competitions
– Tractor Driving and Speaking Events, Exhibit Presentations
11:00 AM 4-H/FFA Opening Ceremony
12:00 PM 4-H/FFA Livestock Judging
2:00 PM 4-H/FFA Quiz Bowl and Ag Olympics
4:00 PM 4-H/FFA Ice Cream Social & Awards
5:30 PM Weighing 4-H Baby Beef
6:00 PM Walking Baby Beef – Livestock Ring
Friday, August 7
9:00 AM 4-H Horse Show – George Allen Arena
Horse evaluation time TBD
4:00 PM 4-H Baby Beef Club Show – Livestock Ring
Saturday, August 8
10:00 AM 4-H Obstacle Course – Livestock Ring
12:00 PM 4-H Costume Show – Livestock Ring
Extra prize for poultry themed costumes.
4:00 PM 4-H Baby Beef Club Auction 4-H Tent
Sunday, August 9
No 4-H events scheduled.
