Woodblock Prints Depicting Scenes from Labor History
Five woodblock prints depicting scenes from labor history created by Edward C. Schlick, former Communications Director for the Maine AFL-CIO. Edward Schlick, an accomplished artist who studied at the Pratt Institute School of Art and Design in New York, the University of San Francisco and Colby College, passed away in 2013.
The original signed prints can be viewed at the Bureau of Labor Education on the second floor of Chadbourne Hall on the University of Maine, Orono campus. More information about the artist can be found at the Maine State Library.
