2020 Fall Field Day

We hope you can join us for one of our socially-distanced, outdoor fall field meetings!

(Originally scheduled for Sept. 30, 2020 – Now Oct. 7th, 2020)

  • 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Brodis Blueberries, Jones Hill Road, Hope, Maine
  • One pesticide credit will be available.  We will cover IPM tactics and discuss the farm’s new processing building.

Tuesday, October 6, 2020

  • 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Wesley, Maine.
    • We’ll meet in one of Erik Guptill’s fields. It is right off of Rt. 192 directly across from the end of Guptill Rd. Locals call this field the “Bacon Lot” if that makes sense to you. 
  • One pesticide credit will be available. IPM and crop management will be discussed.

NOTE: Please review our screening questions and guidelines before attending either one of these field day events.

In order to attend, you MUST fill out this form by September 27, 2020. You can either mail back this form to Mary Michaud OR fill out the form online.

Upon arrival, you will be asked the following screening questions:

❏ Do you have a cough or a sore throat?

❏ Do you have a fever or feel feverish?

❏ Do you have shortness of breath?

❏ Do you have a loss of taste or smell?

❏ Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

❏ Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

❏ Have you been out of state in the last 14 days?

If the answer is “yes” to any of the questions the participant will be asked to leave.

During the meeting all participants will be asked to:

❏ Wear a mask or face covering

❏ Maintain 6 ft. distance from people not in your family group

If a participant refuses to comply with these CDC recommendations, they will be asked to leave.

Hand sanitizer and extra masks will be available. There will be no bathroom access or food provided so please plan accordingly.
