4-H Camperships

The 2019 Campership application is now available!

If you would like to apply for financial assistance to a summer camp (either 4-H or non-4-H) you must return the application by Wednesday, April 17th, 2019!

Please mail application or drop off at UMaine Cooperative Extension, 75 Clearwater Drive, Suite 104, Falmouth, Maine 04105.

If you need extra paper copies of the campership application mailed to you, contact the office at 207.781.6099 or via e-mail sara.conant@maine.edu. Campership amounts depend on the cost of the camp to which you are applying, but can range from $50 to $150. Scholarships are sponsored by the Cumberland County Leaders Association, Tractor Supply Company Paper Clover sales, Barbara & Bob Tibbetts Campership Fund, and the Extension Homemakers.

  • The Maine 4-H Foundation traditionally has offered camperships of $200 each to 4-H camps. For more information or to apply please email marvin.tala@maine.edu your child’s name, parent’s name, email address, county, 4H club, 4-H camp they are attending and when, whether or not they are already registered for the camp or not, and any other financial assistance for camp that has been given already or applied for.
