Skillin School

In 2005, Anne Cyr started the Learning Gardens at the Skillin Elementary School. The Learning Gardens contain three habitat gardens on the school grounds, which include a Bird & Butterfly Garden, Rain Garden and Nature Trail & Outdoor Classroom. The purpose of the gardens is to encourage teachers to utilize the gardens more in their lesson planning and to host an Ecology Day every spring (similar to a field day). Project Coordinator: Anne Cyr and Richard Bicknell.
