Winter Care of Livestock Workshop Series

Workshops take place every other Tuesday from noon to 2 PM beginning December 7th.

Join Dr. Colt W. Knight, UMaine Extension State Livestock Specialist, for this series of in-person workshops. Participants will learn best practices for winter care of beef cattle, small ruminants (sheep and goats), pigs, and poultry. 

Winter care of small ruminants will include a light lunch of smoked lamb roast. The registration deadline for Winter Care of Small Ruminants is December 1st. 

Workshops will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the UMaine Regional Learning Center, 75 Clearwater Drive, Suite 104, Falmouth, Maine.

Registration is required, and seating is limited to 20 participants per workshop.  You will need to register for each workshop separately. 

Per University of Maine policy, facemasks are required indoors for all people, regardless of vaccination status.
