On occasion assistance is requested not just from Master Gardener volunteers, but all Cumberland County Cooperative Extension volunteers to assist at the front desk. This is done in the case of absences of regular Cooperative Extension staff created by vacancy or vacation. General light office work; answering phones, transferring calls, supply the public with requested information.
