The Edible Forest Garden was added to the Topsham Library grounds in 2011 when project coordinator Sarah Wolpow got involved. Prior to this, some small projects had been begun by a Boy Scout troop. Sarah is always looking for help directing and managing the garden! Small spaces are available to try out different gardening techniques of your choosing. Past MG projects have included a hugel mound, a keyhole bed, a strawberry spiral, a bird garden, and a tea garden. Most of these are still in cultivation. A children’s garden filled with pollinator attractors and other interesting plants with a variety of smells, textures and structures is also maintained.
