Sharepoint Application Access Instructions
Accessing the Pollinator-Friendly Garden Application on Sharepoint
The Pollinator Friendly Garden Certification application is available as a Word doc on Sharepoint.
Using a desktop or laptop computer, use the application link on the Certify Your Garden webpage to open the document in your web browser.
Once open, you have several options:
- Print directly from your browser:
- select the “Print” button at the top right. Printed applications can be filled out by hand and submitted by mail or scanned and submitted by email.
- Download the application .docx file to your device:
- Select download at the top right.
- Downloaded applications can be opened and edited using:
- Word processing programs on your device. You can use Microsoft Word or free programs such as LibreOffice.
- Edit online by creating a free account and uploading the application to Google Drive or Microsoft Word Online.

If you do not have access to a desktop or laptop:
- Visit your local Extension office and request that they print a copy.
- Visit your local library and print a copy.

Submit your application one of the following ways:
- Mail a printed version to us
- Pollinator-Friendly Garden Certification, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, 45 Kennebunk Rd., Alfred, Maine 04002
- Email an electronic copy to us at extension.pollinators@maine.edu
- Scan or take a clear photo of a printed version if you opted to hand write your answers.
Make sure to save a copy of your application for yourself as a backup.
