The 4-H Photo Scavenger Hunt is based on the categories you will find in the annual 4-H Photo Contest: animals, nature/landscape, people, architecture, and 4-H activities. That way, if you take a photo that you think is really great, you can submit it to the photo contest!

Photo Contest Scavenger Hunt Choices

To download a .pdf of the scavenger hunt categories, click: 4-H Photo Contest Scavenger Hunt PDF.

Here’s the exciting part: all scavenger hunt participants will receive a ribbon AND a little “door-prize.” If you take a photo of one item in each category, you’ll be submitted into a raffle to win a larger prize. And if you choose, you can submit any (or all!) of these photos to the 4-H Photo Contest. Entries submitted to the Photo Contest will be judged and the highest scorers will receive a cash prize.

Note: As a way to document those we are reaching, we are seeking Gender and Race/Ethnicity information on an optional basis. It is important that we ensure equal opportunity for all who might benefit from our programs.
