Garlic Mustard Management Workshop
You are cordially invited to a Workshop on Garlic Mustard Management on January 16, 2019, hosted by The Stinson Lab at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Join us for a morning of talks featuring the latest on our garlic mustard research and round table discussions about its impacts and management.
The workshop will summarize long term datasets we have been collecting with regional stakeholders who collaborated in experimental eradications of garlic mustard, including Harvard Forest, The Trustees of Reservations, Black Rock Forest, and West Point Military Academy. Topics will include:
- Long-term monitoring and population trajectories of garlic mustard
- Plant and fungal responses to eradication and invasion
- Earthworm co-invasion with garlic mustard
- Management strategies and eradication effectiveness
