Garlic Mustard Management Workshop

December 20th, 2018

You are cordially invited to a Workshop on Garlic Mustard Management on
January 16, 2019, hosted by The Stinson Lab at University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. Join us for a morning of talks featuring the
latest on our garlic mustard research and round table discussions about
its impacts and management.

The workshop will summarize long term datasets we have been collecting
with regional stakeholders who collaborated in experimental eradications
of garlic mustard, including Harvard Forest, The Trustees of
Reservations, Black Rock Forest, and West Point Military Academy. Topics
will include:

  • Long-term monitoring and population trajectories of garlic mustard
  • Plant and fungal responses to eradication and invasion
  • Earthworm co-invasion with garlic mustard
  • Management strategies and eradication effectiveness

Please fill out the Google form attached below to RSVP to this event. We
will be debuting our Garlic Mustard Management pamphlet with key
information on the latest garlic mustard management recommendations. You
won’t want to miss this! If you know anyone else who would be interested
in attending this workshop, feel free to circulate the RSVP form.

If you have any questions or comments, please respond to this email.

All the best,
