Swallow-wort Collaborative

The Eastern Lake Ontario/Northeast Swallow-wort Collaborative will foster greater cooperation, collaboration between different stakeholder groups to improve control, and spread prevention focused solely on swallow-worts. Additionally, this collaborative will help to transfer knowledge between researchers and managers, share advances in science and management, provide technical assistance and connect the stakeholder community. Current collaborators include: Cornell Cooperative Extension, Thousand Islands Land Trust, New York Invasive Species Research Institute, The Nature Conservancy, the University of Rhode Island, NYS Parks Recreation & Historic Preservation, Wells College. The initial webcast will include a presentation by Dr. Dylan Parry from SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry. Learn about the ELOSC and current swallow-wort efforts.
