Invitation to Mosquito-Borne Disease Town Hall Meetings
Greetings,
Maine saw high mosquito-borne disease activity in 2023 in multiple areas of the state, especially with Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), Jamestown Canyon virus (JCV), and West Nile virus (WNV). In preparation for another active mosquito season, Maine CDC invites you to attend a town hall meeting for municipalities, town officials, and others involved in mosquito-borne disease concerns to prepare for the upcoming season. Two meeting locations area available, one in the Portland area and one in the Bangor area. In-person and virtual attendance is available for each meeting.
