Adjuvants Are Now Defined as Pesticides in Maine
People who may use herbicides, or other pesticides, to treat invasive species in Maine, may want to take notice of this information. Adjuvants are now defined as pesticides in Maine, and therefore will require registration and reporting starting in 2024 (i.e., applicator end of year report). Also, the Maine Board of Pesticides Control publishes an excel file of registered products on their website, which I found useful to search to determine which adjuvant products are currently registered in Maine.
