2020 Specific Information for Windsor Fair

Location: Windsor Fair 4-H Exhibition Hall in Main Exhibition Hall

Dates: Postponed until August and September 2021

Hall Exhibits:  Open to Kennebec, Knox-Lincoln, Waldo, Androscoggin and Sagadahoc Counties.

Other counties can exhibit upon request to Extension staff, call Alisha Targonski at 207.622.7546

  • Club Table Exhibit Premiums: See General Rules. Five $20 prizes will be awarded to the five clubs that score highest as a display.
  • Individual Project Exhibit Premiums: See General Rules
    • 1st Place: $3.00
    • 2nd Place: $2.00
    • 3rd Place: $1.00
    • 5-8 Year Olds: $2.50
  • Educational Club Exhibits Premiums: See General Rules.
    • 1st Place: $40
    • 2nd Place: $35
    • 3rd Place: $30
    • 4th Place: $25
    • 5th Place: $20
    • 6th Place: $10
  • All exhibits must be in the hall between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 24. Judging will officially begin at 6:00 p.m. however, displays may be judged as they are set up. If set up needs to happen on Thursday, August 23, please email alisha.r.targonski@maine.edu to coordinate with the fair.
  • All exhibits must be picked up Monday, September 3, between 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.* or Tuesday, September 4th between 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Remember: *If you choose to pick up your 4-H exhibits on Labor Day, you will have to carry your exhibits by hand off the fairgrounds as you cannot get near the 4-H Hall on Monday Evening.

Tuesday, August 27: Windsor Fair 4-H Horse Show, 9:30 a.m.

Saturday, August 31: 4-H Day 

  • 4-H Show Schedule (Contact Carol Davis, 778.9697 to register)
    • 9:00 a.m.: 4-H Dairy Show
    • 9:30 a.m.: 4-H Sheep Show
    • 10:00 a.m.: 4-H Working Steer Show
    • 10:00 a.m.: Youth Rabbit Show (4-H’ers welcome)
    • 4:00 p.m.: Youth Baby Beef Show followed by Youth Market Lamb Show (4-H’ers welcome)

Sunday, September 1: Children’s Day
