Join the University of Maine Cooperative Extension for a half-day educational program designed for small-scale poultry producers and backyard chicken keepers. This session will focus on chick brooding, winter poultry care, basic nutrition, flock health, and practical pest management strategies, which are key skills for raising chickens successfully in Maine’s challenging climate. All participants will receive a starter biosecurity kit and a book on poultry care and health to support their ongoing learning.
