About the Joint Session

Meeting Theme: Innovation

This face-to-face meeting features three joint sessions dedicated to innovation.

About the Meeting Host

Session 1:

The first of the joint sessions will identify the DNA of innovation and provide attendees with a work session on developing an innovation playbook. How does innovation inform leadership and catalyze institutional and organizational change and quality?

Session 2:

A second joint session will consider the science behind innovative employee engagement strategies before, during, and after the pandemic.  How has remote work or work-from-home changed the social contract of work and altered our deployment of social capital?  What’s needed to lead in this evolving work environment?

Session 3:

In the third joint session, participants will have an opportunity to draft an agenda that exploits the unique aspects of the Northeast, informing academic programming, regional research and Extension activities, regional communications, and regional advocacy. How might each of the sections connect and collaborate to increase the visibility of the portfolio of our Northeast activities?

Also:

The meeting will also feature networking opportunities, work sessions, and business meetings for each of the sections:  Administrative Heads, Extension, Experiment Station, Academic Programs, Communicators, and CARET.
