Workshop list

Bullet Journaling 101

Join a hands-on workshop to learn about the bullet journal system and how it can help you stay organized and on-schedule, as well as a pathway to a more meaningful and constructive life. Using tools like indexing, list-making and future logs, and by encouraging creativity and artistry, you can learn how to keep tasks and plans clear and concise, leaving minds free to focus and engage with the world more meaningfully.

Values- Empowering ME & You

What is a value? How do I come by my values? What makes me, me? Why do I respond a certain way in different situations? Sometimes our values get in the driver’s seat and drive our responses in the world and in our relationships with others, and this activity lets us take a pause and figure out if that’s what we want; we just have to know ourselves first.

Dude… YOU are creative. I promise.

Every human is creative. Sometimes we get stuck thinking creativity only means being artistic: painting, sculpture, writing fiction… One definition is that creativity is “the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves or others” (Robert E. Franken). In this workshop we’ll streeeeetch our creativity. We’ll be accepting of our individual approaches, become more comfortable in our own creativity, and begin to recognize where that creativity can take us. We’ll do several hands-on activities and exercises that will get you into a creative mindset and you’ll leave with a bag of tricks ready to tackle issues, projects, or goals in a new and exciting way.

Jobs: The Hunt, The Tools, The Thrill of Pursuit

Getting hired for a job you love doesn’t happen by accident! Thoughtful planning will put you in a better position to get hired for the job you want. The goal of this workshop is to help prepare you to find and get hired for a job that meets your career interests and goals. During the workshop, we will discuss strategies for creating resumes, writing cover letters, and interviewing for positions. Also, we will also explore how your career interests can shape the ways you search for a new job.

Is It Chilly In Here, or Is It Just Me?

Have you ever been part of a working group where you don’t anyone, but are expected to just jump right in and work together? Enter the icebreaker: a means to break the tension and get people talking and building relationships. This workshop will lead participants through a series of icebreakers designed to teach leaders how to easily facilitate them in groups, all while inspiring their participants to warm up to each other in a fun way.
