UMaine Demonstration Garden
UMaine Cooperative Extension continue the Gardening with Raised Beds series with Session 3: Caring for your Garden on Thursday, July 12th at 3:00 pm. Master Gardener Volunteers Dotty Hadler and Janet Yelch-Weatherbee and Home Horticulture Coordinator Craig Anthony will discuss how to care for your vegetables in raised bed gardens during the growing season. In this session you will learn, hands-on, how to monitor, maintain, and solve problems to successfully grow produce from raised beds. This year’s crops include Swiss chard, snap peas, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, broccoli, lettuce, and northern beans. Bring your gardening questions. All are invited to attend.
