Farm to Cafeteria Meeting
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Maine Highlands Farmers will host a Farm to Cafeteria meeting Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 at the Piscataquis County Extension Office, Dover-Foxcroft, ME at 7pm. At this free event growers and school food service directors will address barriers to supplying and purchasing local food for school cafeterias, explore strategies for overcoming these challenges, and network for the 2013 season.
